Ride along
with me.
I built a crypto swing-trading bot. It trades a strict breakout system on daily candles — no discretion, no vibes, honest fees. Every trade, every stat, every log line is on this page. Watch it for as long as you like. If it earns your trust, mirror it to your own Kraken account.
Live from the engine
Rules, not hunches.
The whole strategy fits on a napkin — that's the point. It waits for one specific setup, sizes the position off volatility, and gets out mechanically. There is no "the model felt bullish." These are the live settings, read straight from the engine.
Wait for a real breakout
On daily candles: the 20-day EMA above a rising 50-day EMA, price closing above its prior 20-day high, and the day's close above its 20-day SMA. Most days, nothing qualifies. That's fine — the bot sits out.
Check the market's mood
Bitcoin has to be in a healthy regime before anything opens. When BTC rolls over, altcoin breakouts fail — so the bot simply doesn't take them.
Size by risk, not by conviction
Each position risks about 1.25% of equity between entry and stop. A volatile coin gets a smaller position, a calm one gets more. Conviction never enters the arithmetic.
An AI that can only say no
Once the rules fire, Claude gets one look — purely to veto on hard news: a confirmed hack, a delisting, a regulatory action, a big token unlock. It cannot open a trade, it cannot close one, and it never overrides the chart. If the check errors, the trade proceeds. The machine is the strategy; the model is a circuit breaker.
Exit without arguing
Hard stop at 1.5× ATR. A chandelier trail at 3.0× ATR arms once the trade is properly in profit. A time stop closes anything still drifting after 21 days. Exits are 100% mechanical — no AI, no second-guessing.
The whole tape.
This is the strategy account's equity, as a percentage of where it started. It's a simulated account — the honest word is paper — priced with real fees, real spread and real slippage, so the curve isn't flattered. Nothing is hidden, including the flat stretches.

Mirror the ride.
Connect a Kraken API key and every trade the engine takes gets placed in your account, sized against your balance. You keep custody of your funds. You can switch it off whenever you want. Read the next box first — carefully.
⚠ Read this before you connect anything
The strategy account you see above trades in simulation. Copy-trading is not a simulation. When you connect Kraken and switch copy-trading on, real market orders execute in your account with your real money, on every signal the engine fires.
You can lose money — potentially all of it. Crypto is volatile, stops can slip through gaps, and a strategy that worked yesterday can stop working today. Nothing here is financial advice. Only ride along with money you can afford to lose entirely, and never give RideAlong a Kraken key with withdrawal permission.
You'll be asked to acknowledge this when you register, and again before copy-trading can be switched on.
The honest answers.
Wait — the bot is on paper, but my money is real?
Yes, and you should understand exactly what that means. The strategy account is a simulation used as the signal source. When it "buys," a real buy order goes to the Kraken account of everyone who has copy-trading switched on. Your fills, your fees, your slippage, your money. Mine is in there too, under the same rules.
How much of my balance gets used?
You choose, between 10% and 100% (default 90%) of your available balance, scaled against the position fraction the strategy takes. Set it on your account page.
What permissions should my Kraken key have?
Exactly two: Query Funds and Create & Modify Orders. Nothing else. Never enable withdrawal on a key you give to any service, including this one. Your keys are encrypted at rest and never leave this server.
Can I stop?
Any time. Switch copy-trading off and no further orders are placed for you. Delete your keys and they're gone from the database. Positions already open in your Kraken account stay yours to manage — turning the switch off does not liquidate them.
What do you charge?
Nothing. There's no fee, no subscription, no performance cut, and no token. I built this for myself; you're welcome to ride along.
Who are you and why should I trust this?
Don't, yet. That's the whole design. Watch the tape for a few weeks with no account and no keys. The equity curve, the trade list and the engine's own log are all public. Trust should be earned with evidence, and the evidence is on this page.
